That is in response to your above comment, but on this comment, yes for sure. a catalog of what you SHOULDNT buy aftermarket ? :eek: I am working on getting a bunch of speedometers refurbished to sell as a winter project.. It drives me nuts what those crown Speedos look like. :mad:

I can write a book on what not to buy, Pretty much anything that says Crown or OMIX on it.

I went with SpeedHut gauges in Stump Jumper. Nice but a little on the expensive side.
 
Remember back a dozen pages are so when I said my Jeep was 0-60 in about 12 seconds and I wanted to build it so it would be under 8 seconds. Well I am almost positive I exceeded that. I plan on putting it to the test one day this week if the weather holds up. So for you guys that know my build give me your best guess. I'm saying 0-60 in 6.2 seconds.

Wasnt that test done before you found out the throttle wasn't fully opening?
 
Yes it was only opening up 55%. It was scooting pretty good after I fixed that but I didn't do a timed run. I now have the new cam and Corvette heads(243) and all I can say is it really screams now with the 4L60E shifting at 6,500 RPM. Maybe I'll do a timed test tomorrow.
 
Before I guess, I need to know how long it takes for a tow truck to show up after the call is made. 😆

I may have to ride shotgun on this at least once. I took a ride in a friends 1500 hp mustang on a straight away. I'm pretty sure I saw God at one point before coming to a stop. I'll ride my iron duke over there and see if I can tell a difference.
