Adams Familys next Scrambler BUILD!

Done and done. Its in the mail. Congrats

Resto - restoration
Mod - modified

Some folks get pretty grouchy if you say you are restoring something old; but then include modifications that make it better / more reliable / more modern.

If you call it a resto-mod they understand you aren't claiming to do a period perfect, back to original restoration.

Seeing both these (dad-Ken-pappywaho & the tub) out at the shop is definitely a sight for sore eyes!
Project has kind of been on hold, as dad has been doing chemo treatments. He has been off that stuff for almost 2 months is slowing gaining his strength/stamina back. Raring to himself and this project track.

Every time I think of this build I want to go strait to a crazy heavy duty long arm build on ultimate 60s. How do you resist?

Still not progressing as quickly as we'd like.
We got the tub and some misc. pieces dropped off to our paint body guy.
He will be replacing rusted floor pans and straightening out a few issues.
Once those are complete we will get it media blasted.

I did a TDK Hybrid, the front inner fenders need to be cut around the coil perch on the frame. Might want to mock up before paint. Although it can be done after, a little tricky which is what I had to do, thus why I am sharing…

I have that info in my notes from your build, but thanks for the reminder.

Spent a little time in the shop over the weekend.
All the JK suspension brackets except the front upper control arm mounts got go.
Bummer the previous owners rear truss had to come off too.
Almost filled a 5 gallon bucket.
Will be getting Barnes 4WD JK to TJ axle swap kits.
