Hey all,

Beginning the journey to determine cost and effort to supercharge my built amc 401. Torqstorm seems like a good direction and very helpful folks too.
Anyone have prior experience?

I’m thinking a water. Dry kit is the best way to keep intake air temps in check.

Would to gear from folks who gave experience.

Thanks!
Paul

I never heard of them but you might as well go all out and get twins.Screenshot_20251229_160947_Samsung Internet.jpg

Apologies for the typos in the original message. Can’t seem to edit. Hopefully what I wrote makes a little sense :)

As much as I love to keep AMC under my hood (and I’ve spent plenty to do it), for that kind of money and what you could get for the 401, you could get a really nice, high powered LS. Depending on your current compression ratio, what would your gain really be? You need lower compression ratio to get the real benefit from a super charger.

My thoughts exactly. Would look amazing under the hood and definitely not be seen anywhere you go but if it's power you are looking for / best bang for your buck ....... hard to beat LS set-ups.
