AX-15 Sources?

Hey guys, anyone have a good source for AX15 Transmissions? My TH350 has begun eating it's clutches and I would like to convert back to a manual. Usually the AX15 is about $1700 new (Novak / Advanced Adapters) but so far everyone I have called has no idea where the transmissions are or when they will appear.

I looked on Car-Part.com (junk yard search) and they want $2600 for a junk yard transmission. Ugh.
