I went with a similar one on the boat.

It's held up okay and will likely add the same to the Scrambler. Not sure I'd consider it marine grade quality, but it does the trick.

I’ve used a similar port in several vehicles. I used just the USB and the rest is in a box somewhere. But they have all worked well.

I was thinking installing the new USP port somewhere in my Tuffy center console (https://tuffyproducts.com/products/universal-deluxe-stereo-center-security-console/). I already have battery power inside the console for the locked up stereo. I utilized a 8 gauge wire set from the battery to the console so I am not concerned about capacity limitations. If no one has done this install, I dream up my a plan and will post a picture of the final install.

Here’s what we put in our Sheriff’s cars so I bought one for the Jeep. It has served me well with no issues. Made in the USA.948CF97B-3885-4BAB-A615-4CCFADBA10B0.jpeg

I assume the three power ports are used for 12V DC equipment and the four USBs are for 5V DC equipment. Don't see a brand name? Thanks.

My apologies, that would be helpful. The brand is Able 2. Here is a link I'm pretty sure I bought it from SWPS.com out of Texas.

It has a 15A circuit breaker and the USB ports are backlit. It's not the most fashionable but works the way it's supposed to.

I used one of the newer Blue Sea USB outlets. Should fast charge most recent model devices. Not cheap however.

Here it is in the dash to the left of the 6-Switch S-Pod system

And in the back, I'm going to install this to power my Dometic refrigerator using their twist lock outlet, a cigarette lighter socket and another one of the dual USB outlets:

Love your Blue Dash layout! I assume the item to the right side of your 6-Switch S-Pod system is a 12V power port or cigarette lighter.

Yes. That is a power port/cigarette lighter. Both are wired with a 12 awg wire to my auxiliary battery. The 3-plug assembly for the back will also be off the auxiliary battery.

I installed this little guy in the original cigarette lighter holder. Works great and it doubles as a back-up volt meter. Has its own on/off button as well!!

My 1983 Laredo Scrambler never came with a power port/cigarette lighter. I do not see one on the electrical diagram. Time to add one and a USB port.
