I think this bumper is just an aftermarket generic bumper, but has anyone seen this before?

Yes, Back in the day J.C. Whitney and 4WD parts carried an aftermarket step bumper for the CJ. I'm thinking about putting one on my 8 temporary, I think one for a Ford Ranger may work.

Looks very similar to the ones used on the Alaskan postals, just in chrome instead of paint.

Also looks like the bumper from my wife’s old 94 F150.
