Seeking books or manuals to learn about CJ-8s, parts identification, and frame off restoration guidance.

I am new tot he CJ platform, so probably basic stuff for most of you guys.

Welcome, not sure about any books or manuals, but the wealth of information here is phenomenal. I have also used a couple YouTube channels too.
 
I have not seen any scrambler dedicated books. There are a few CJ dedicated books, but they are more focused on the early CJ 60’s - 70’s).

Like mentioned above, this site is a wealth of knowledge. If you can’t find something via the search function, members here are quick to help.

And, welcome!
 
There is a Vol 1 and Vol 2 FSM/TSM on Amazon. I found these books especially useful so far. They lack a lot of detail on specific locations for parts though so you will need to use the forum and google for photos
