Dads Scrambler

Looking good. Now the fun part, piecing it together. Think you'll have her done by spring?

He will have that done before I finish my frame swap! And I hope to be done in January.

Thanks for the complements!

The plan is to start piecing if back together after the first of the year. My garage has heat, so when its to cold outside to do anything productive i'll be inside working on the jeep :headbang:

The big problem now is I have two other jeep projects of my own sitting on the back burner that I need to fit in somewhere.
I got the california jeep in pieces that has to go back together and then another cj5 thats comp cut to sit on a cj7 frame.

Forgot the post the Xmas presents dad got.

Thanks! Work and school schedule will not allow South Dakota this year, but I think I have sandblast lined up!

No movement in this for a while, but hoping to get going soon.

Go with F-Body pan? Got to looking for a F-body pan for dads swap.
Can not believe how much they gone up since I did my swap a few years back.
Ended up finding a F-body pan with pickup on Craiglist delivered for $120
Cut down truck windage tray.

Yeah F body pan. I found one local for $100. I thought I had a pic but I can't find it.

You going to use PCV catch can? I strongly suggest it.
Has really helped getting rid of all the smoking when off camber.

I don't know, haven't gotten that far. Nor did I know it was an issue. I assume a PCV catch can has a similiar function to the factory cj charcoal canister?

That's coming along nicely and I like all the "finds". I "find" myself spending too much time looking for goodies too. You're on your way to almost being done.
