Fender Flares

I wound up taking my xenon flares off and reopening to the factory flares. That massive XENON emblazoned on the front drive me batty. I do like them but why must they have s huge brand on them? Can your body guy do anything about that?
Yep, logo's still there on the newest ones, I'm going to have it sanded off and filled for sure. You can see the rough finish in the picture as well as the extra material along the bottom edge that they left, it appears they didn't spend much time on pdi. Just build it and ship it.

Love the Shewrwood with the nutmeg color combo. That'd look awesome imo.
I agree but unfortunately it has a black interior. I could get a new dash pad and paint it Nutmeg. That is what I did for my Scrambler (actually I painted the dash pad the same color as the body), but new door panels only come in Spice color, or black.

If it bothers you that much, and I understand how little things that only you may notice while others don't can be frustrating, can you not just buff out the letters? If they are imprinted you could fill the letters, sand it then paint it. But, I don't really think that many people will care, or even notice. Personally, I would rather have the letters on the fender flares than mud and water all over me when I have my doors off.

Their logo on them is not that big a deal but since they all will need to be sanded with 400 grit to prep for paint anyway I'll wipe the logo out while I'm at it, it's a very shallow logo and it won't take any extra effort. Actually some of the pitting is deeper than the logo and I agree, a mud bath at the wrong time is never fun lol.

Until you found these.

I have both. I ran the rugged ridge for a few years and now have some used Xenon's. I like them both for different reasons but the xenon's are kind of beat up and I may just go back to the other ones since the fenders are already drilled for them. IMG_20230325_131150_503.jpg

I just bought a 84 Scrambler with the Xeons, they’re pretty wide. Just glad they didn’t hack up the body putting them on. I’ll try to find a nice set of original style to replace them with. Yours is a great looking Scrambler, either way.
