Fuel Line Routing for a 360 in a Scrambler

Alright guys, need some help here.
I'm working on a Scrambler that's getting an AMC 360 with Holley Pro-Jection 2D on it. Anybody else running this same setup? Lines came from InlineTube but were ordered before it was decided that the Jeep was going to get a 360 instead of the stock 258. Therefore, I'd like to try to use the lines we have but don't know if it's possible. Anybody want to lend a little insight here? Thanks guys.

What I did may or may not apply, since I used a Howell system with my 360. The return line stayed on the driver's side frame rail. The feed side was fabbed from 5/16" steel tube from a local parts store. It runs up the passenger side frame rail with the filter and pump mounted beside the transfer case/over the skid. It's worked well for me.

I would up side the feed line up to at least a 3/8 line so that you get the proper amount of volume to the injectors.

John,
Did you mount the filter and pump to the skid plate itself or the frame just above the skid? I could get it below the tank by mounting it on the skid plate but removing the skid plate would become a pain.

I mounted it over the skid, on the frame rail.

CJ8LVR, i am running the same setup in my build. i was wondering about the routing last night. did you get yours worked out and running?

that is a beautiful setup you have. thats actually the colour i was planning to paint my engine.

Not yet but it's going to get tackled here very soon (next two weeks or so)
I have some other priorities to contend with first but will be on it soon.

I'll post back once I can explain.

A little change of direction.

For a speedup of the completion of the build and simplicity - we've decided to go with a carb (Edelbrock).

Still have some questions with the carb in mind.

My feed line is routed up the passenger side frame rail and I'm going to bend some metal line to cross it underneath the engine and up to the mechanical fuel pump we are going to run that will be in the stock location on the driver's side of the timing cover. From there it gets a little hazy.

I can bend metal line up from the pump along the inside of the drivers side valve cover and then turn it to the carb without too much fuss.

However, return lines and charcoal canniser and the rollover and vent components back in the rear corner behind the tail light - how much of all of that is truely necessary and how should the lines be attached to them?

Anybody have any insight into those components and their necessity?

Carb is OK....sort of.....but not that one, IME.

I really don't think this Jeep is going to see a bunch of off road use.
With that being said, and the carb bought, this is what we based that decision on.

I hope it works for you. I wish I'd known you wanted one, though. I have an "almost" new 1406 with the off-road needle seats already in it, in the original box, sitting on a shelf in my garage. I'd have made you a very good deal on it.
