I just stumbled on this looking at the Genright fuel tanks... I have always said that I wouldn't go in-tank with my pump (which I really needed/wanted to) without having access through the bed, but with my limited skills, It scared me senseless to actually do.

Now I don't have to bother with my own hacked-up solution!

I saw that a while back but I’m still scared. My paint is still good and my body is still 99. 3 % rust free. I’ve had plenty of skin Drs. carve on the skin of my body, but slicing into my Jeep body is just not easy.

I'm sure it would be next to cutting a finger off if you had nice paint. I don't have to worry about such things LOL.

I was mainly shocked that something like this exists that I had never seen or heard mentioned anywhere. Especially with the number of times I've talked to various people about my "no-in-tank-pump-without-access" rule.

This all has to do with the fact that since I bought the postal in 2002, I have NEVER ONCE had to drop the tank.

I had to do a couple in other vehicles and it is something I loathe up there with doing drywall and painting.

Mine in Moab last year. Thanks to good friends it wasn’t too bad. Turned out a bad ground. Plus other things going on. IMG_1769.jpeg
