Well Mike has his jeep back! I’m officially done with my part. He has a few things to wrap up. I.e. heater box, door panels. Transmission is still not right and that really bugs me but it’s out of my wheelhouse. Luckily Mike has found somebody local to him that knows this transmission and can fix the issue that’s inside.
Do you have a really nice jeep Mike I hope you enjoy it!
 
So here's what I'm up to:

Attached the side mirrors.

Put the Husky toolbag with leather gloves, flashlights & jeep grill-bottle opener key ring in. PS THANK YOU Secret Santa!

Attached the JEEP front frame cover

Attached the front hitch skid plate

Added a tactical passenger seat cover for the dog

Found my original & spare set of keys (locked myself out lol)

Added my little Gumby that has rode in the windshield top footman loop for over 3 decades.

Currently hooking up the car mount charger for my handheld ham/gmrs radio

You need to get the transmission rebuilt. I would not drive it unless you are trying to take it to the shop for a rebuild.
 
Well I'm back from a month in Colorado.
Beautiful area!
Anyway my 8 has been waiting for a Tran rehab since it dies when you put it in D or R..
I tested the NSS & it's working as it should.
The preferred shop hasn't been taking new customers as they are way backed up.
They don't even answer the phone now.

Will pay $ to get this fixed, right

Meaning what, do you have a thread going on the issues?
 
Reach out to @Elifixesjeeps on social media. See if he is willing to drive down and put a tune in the sniper so it will no longer have to learn. He has been to the Holley sniper school and knows all the ins and out of the system.

I met him at the PA Jeep Show. Seems like a nice guy.
