Half cab hard top can be made from YJ hard top???

OK, I finished the M38A1 and return to work at my Jeep... Today I was positioning the tool box that I want to put at the rear, because at the interior there is not room enough to let baggage in case of traveling...
I found this aluminum box at one friend's garage and now I'm reinforcing it, with a (aluminum too) sheet at the top, adding a rubber floor inside. Will fix it at the floor, with some kind of spacers between the box and Jeep's floor (to avoid accumulation of moisture )....View attachment 103659

I know you probably don't want to do this to the sheetmetal, but in addition of lifting up the box on spacers, perhaps a couple of drain holes towards the bulkhead in case you park the Scrambler on a slight downhill and it rains?

OK, the Jeep's bed have two big holes right there, covered with rubber plugs.

OK, today I finished it. I did a provisional jerrycan holder, probably will make it permanent in a couple of days. We will go to a anual Jeep and Willys reunion and need it for this weekend... And will add one more belt before I go.....
