Hello,
I bought my CJ-8 new from Biddulph Olds Jeep in 1985. I removed the factory half cab with the sliding rear window where it is stored in the shed. I replaced it with an Acme full length hard top, and installed a fold/tumble rear seat. When the 258 wore out, I removed it and the t-5 and stored them in the shed. I replaced them with tha AMC 304 and 999 automatic for factory appearance. The pump seal went out in the transmission in 2004, so I parked it. Thinking about resurrecting it. When I bought it it Scramblers were considered an orphan stepchild, now they are desireable. Who would have guessed? Oh, me, that's why I have stored all original parts, sales brochure, window sticker, etc. Foresight can be 20/20 too.

85. Had one ordered via our credit union when they advised us that they were discontinuing it and the factory was not taking orders. We "scrambled" to find one, there were only 8 in the southwest region and Biddulph had 3 so we chose one of them. I will post pics. I bought new take off Wrangler factory half doors from Randall AMC Jeep in Mesa (another story) and it really looks long with those on!
 
I am in your neck of the woods, just south in Safford.

Nice! I have a 416 trailer also, but it needs a new floor and lunette eye, and I am going to put the Willys tailgate on it to make it more useful. I am considering moving to Safford or Duncan in a few years -too crowded here now.
