I almost sold my Scramblers...

Rusty,

Set up a meet and great at your place and Lets Put a New Engine In!

I'll be ready to do the swap as soon as I turn this....

And get an engine of course...

Dude, I have engines coming out of the ......................

Garage. You are welcome to drop by and get one to rebuild. Just drop it off at a local machine shop. That is only money and easy to get done. Get an engine ready to go and we could have a meet-n-greet and do a swap over a weekend. Sounds like fun.

Waiting for the garage sounds like a cop out. Get a permit and have a pad poured. We can set up a pop-up tent and work under that. Takes no time to do a CJ swap. Well as long as what is going back in is similar to what came out.

The one that is in the Black one and not working is a 350 SBC....I just need a piece of firm ground and I'm ready to go...poured concrete would work.

Whats one of those fancy 2 family garages cost over there?

10K for foundation
20K stick built with roof and sides, studs inside.
5k water and sewer
2k electric

Hummm...maybe if I sold my Scramblers....no wait.

I would love to find a one with the half cab top. Wanting one to fix up and be my run around toy. Finding one with a bad engine would be my favorite from a cost perspective.

Sweet! That's actually not as bad as I thought (I need to build another garage also). The price is for the design you posted? Sounds like a deal!

Wow, I really like this plan, particularly the open ceiling for the lift!
