Hello everyone I am new on this so sorry if this is wrong but I need some opinions and im sure I can find them here. I ran across what I hope to be a "DEAL" on a scrambler. I have been looking for a while now locally and on the internet but these things are hard to come by in good shape. would a 84 1 owner 4 cyl 5 spd with hard top hard doors soft top 105k mi for 5200 be a deal Im hoping for the best but you know I also dont know alot about 8's any help would be greatly appreciated. I have not looked at it yet the owner is 58 no internet pics. so his wife is going to take some and send them through the mail he says factory undercoating? no rust

Sounds like a very good deal. Each deal is as good as the buyer thinks it is really. I bought mine in '99 one owner 119K in premo shape and paid $8200 for it bone stock, it started at 10K btw.

If the pic's are in good order I wouldn't hesitate, you can always go see it and always improve on it or make it yours with your own changes. Don't know how far away it is but I went from Colorado to Prescott, AZ to see mine all on pic's.

I just got done looking at the pics looks promising, small hole in floorboard minor rust def repairable with hard top/doors one owner. I'll go get it friday

Well I went and picked up the "laredo". That was a plus, it didn't mention that in the ad. The milage was off also more like 222k. 105k on rebuild some rust but a jewel in the rough Finally got a picture yall let me know what you think
