That is a beautiful Sportside! I actually just picked this one up last week! 1982, 360, 4-speed, 97,000 miles, all original.
PF, you can't just casually mention you picked up an original sportside and not share details, plans, and more pictures. Seriously, that's an awesome looking truck. I'd love to find one that original. Please start another thread or fill us in about it.

Little update on the J10 build...just picked the seats up from the upholstery shop. These are factory FSJ bucket seats and armrest. They turned out amazing! They are working on matching door panels now. I had NOS western weave fabric and I was lucky they had scrap material from past jobs for the brown stripes in the colors I wanted. Only had to order the vinyl for the sides/back of the seats and the armrest. This is how I think the factory should have made them!
