But medium (US sizing) will work if you go for the baker's dozen again. ;)

Aaaauuuggghhhhh, I missed this thread cause I was cleaning up from the little kids party we threw yesterday.
10 kids and 20 adults make a bigggggg mess...

MODS, please make a poll for whoever would seriously consider buying an overlander top from MDJuan within the first couple months of availability.

Hopefully Rommel will understand how much desire there is for one of those tops and get the ball rolling on offering one of our members a deal on borrowing their top!!!!

I have an extra overlander/postal top and rear barn door I could potentially supply if there is seriously enough interest. I PM'ed Rommel about it a while back but never heard anything back from him. If I were to give up my extra top and rear door I would require a new set be sent to me to replace it. Would you be needing to keep the old top after the replicas are being made?
 
What about the glass ? That rear vent window glass and seal is gonna be tricky. Would u just extend the glass all the way back without vent window ?

Agree with Jersey Jeeps, although if we could find a rubber supplier/maunfaturer to make the seal set to sell with the tops, that would be ideal. The last big hurdle would be the plastic header piece. (I'll supply a photo later.)

I do have the Postal Top I just bought that I could potentially loan out, but that wouldn't solve anyone's window issues...

I'd say for both cost and ease of design that a 1 piece window would be the way to go. The other thing that should be modded if a new version is made is to insert a filler block of some sort to make the top seal up to standard CJ doors with the rounded rear corner.

Jim Schwab has already done this. Search out what he did with his postal top. He did a great job. The

Since this is a new top. It could be incorporated into the die that stamps out the side panel.
