Rommel,

May I ask specifically what improvements were done? Will the bulkheads fit better and are the tubs narrower so the hard tops fit snug?

Ready to buy.

Thanks, Wally

New and improved tubs are now available through your nearest friendly MDJuan dealer :)

Actually, are you guys above water? I know there was a lot of flooding down there... you guys make it out OK?

cb

hi guys,

The bulkhead will arrive within a week or two, we will fit it then.

We were not flooded thanks for the concern.

Hey Bad Karma We will send you the shirt when I get to the US next month :)

Cheers Rommel

just got mine today! THANKS!!!

The following are the improvements we've made so far for CJ8 as well as the pictures of our tub showing the length against the original. Our present production is 1/8" short. We our now fixing our main assembly jig to ensure the correct length of every tub produced.

Rommel, I got my order from Besinger in a few weeks ago. I very pleased with the quality and thickness of the parts. At first there was an issue with the side quarter panels, they werent in my order. Linda says it will be three months before they will get any from u guys. The next issue I have come up with is the length of the front rear floor plates (roll bar plates). The ones on my scrambler tubs measure 10" from the fender well seam to the front, step down. The ones that I recieved from you are 12". I will be able to fix them, just not to pretty. If I am doing something wrong let me know. Also, Linda should be contacting you about this issue.
thanks,
steven

Your not alone I called besinger also a month ago to go buy the plates as need a set and they told me they didnt look right.. so i didnt order them..they also have a 8 tub in stock which I was going to see but that also has problems that md is trying to resolve. But i dont see myself throwing down big money for somthing thats completely wrong... ill stick with oem tubs and parts for now..till they step up there game.. parts are still out there.. just not as easy as ordering what I need....

Hi Steven. I just confirmed with our guys that we really put a 2 inch allowance on the length of the plates. They are really made 2 inches longer to give you an allowance to work with. Because if your body tub moves a little and the patch panel is too short, its easier to cut the metal than to build up on it.

Cheers,
Rommel

I appreciate you getting back with me on that, Rommel. I just went ahead and cut them. The big issue that I have are my rear quarter panels. If you and Besinger can get that worked out I would appreciate it. I have about 5 tubs that need repaired. I paid half my money up front back in the spring, recieved the shipment a few weeks ago. I have fully paid for the quarters but never recieved them. I recieved rear corners/tailight panels instead. If I dont get the quarters pretty soon then there is no need to have gotten the other parts. $3000 worth of parts just setting around collecting dust. i dont know whos fault it is nor do I care, just need what I ordered. if you can help I would appreciate it.
thanks,
steven
