Really nice pictures. When you were wheeling and crossing all those streams an rivers I was wondering about the environmentalists with that.
The trails all have legal, existing fords. And legislature and law allow for a crossing if it’s part of a trail, as long as it’s done as straight as possible, keeping speed relative to water flow. So minimize water wash hitting the banks like.

The “lunch spot”. Where we always stopped to eat, bs, enjoy the view, and time with friends. We have a plaque to place here. There’s a two month window to get in, we didn’t have it ready in time. It’ll be up next year.

So, august long weekend saw us prepping to get at a trail we’d been trying to finish for several years. And the same that we were blocked from completing in June. This time, we brought a larger crew. And shovels. And pick axes.
