Ok. @Jeeperdd rebuilt it 🤙 to which my knee is ever grateful! It's getting its own restomod next year @ the Va 😅
trans shop installed new torque converter 1.5 years ago.
I had the fluid & filter changed last week.
Mechanic said the fluid looked new.
Changed it regardless. Filter had some small shavings. Normal? Worrisome? Or send it 😄
Also the drag link needs to be adjusted I think.
It occasionally has a hard time finding park and slips out. Or if it's still running I sometimes get a tinny grinding as it slows while trying to find park. Driveway tips please 😁 sniper just for added pics for Eric lol

New clutches and steels will have some wear when breaking in. If it has line pressure, and shifts properly, just run it.

Be sure to properly adjust the valve linkage as well as the shift linkage. The second linkage runs to a valve that adjusts line pressure up and down depending on throttle position. It cannot be left in the high or low position and disconnected. It must be connected to the throttle or you will destroy the transmission through slipping clutches or too high of pressure during light throttle.
