As many of you have known, I have had my '8 for a long time, April of '99 to be exact. It has been many miles and to a lot of places a stock, 2.73 geared '8 probably shouldn't go...
Well I want to brag on the old girl. Those at the Nat'l this summer saw the upgrades we had done. 4.10s, 3 core alum radiator, new PSC steering box and power steering pump, shocks, classic sound radio, steering column shaft and bearing and JEEP AIR, (
)
We have towed it behind our different motorhome since we bought it and it followed the MH to College Station 3 weeks ago. The MH is down there for the season. While there we drove the '8 to our hometown, San Angelo and back, then around CS for 2 weeks then to the Dallas area then home to TN. It ran like a top and the A/C was worth the $$.
Wonder how many 40 year old crap box cars in the future will be able to do that.
Anyway, I have always been a believer in driving our classics and the '8 did GR8!
