Official Thread for the 2009 - 6th Annual SOA National Scramble

Don't encourage us!

We might have to twist your arm into to pulling your big trailer and swinging by Thayer and throwing on another of our Scramblers!

If thats what it takes for kansas to retain it's title:cheers:

Ditto..We'll miss you

Good for Shawn! I saw him briefly in Moab for the Jeep Safari. Wish I could be there with you guys. Presently, I am in the hospital with Bernice, she had her hip replacement surgery on Monday. Things went well, she should get to go home today.

Look forward to seeing you & Bernice next year. Jannie & I will keep you both in our prayers.

Loaded up and heading out shortly. See y'all for the BBQ Wednesday night at Superlift!

Any one going that will be in Memphis between the 13th and 17th on their way to Hot Springs.
I have something to get to PAPPYWAHO for if any charter members of the SOA show up at the event.

I'll be going through Memphis on the 16th, but not sure what time. I'm thinking somewhere around 10:30 or 11:00 EST. Give me a call to see if we can work something out.

If it doesn't work out with Don, you can give me a call too as we'll be driving through on the 17th around the lunch hour.
256-714-2000 is my cell #. We are planning on lunch at the Commisary BBQ in Germantown. That close to you?

Hey Folks

I'm in.

Call me a last minute "walk up" - don't think the rental co will like me taking their wheels on the trails, would be alot of compact car parts all over the hillside!

Arriving @ Memphins International evening of the 16th.

If I can help with a delivery, lemme know.

Anyone got a open seat in Hot Springs? ;)

Great to hear that your going to make it. :cool:I'll have an open seat, your welcome to ride with me, but I'm not running any extreme trails mostly moderate.

Don

Pat that is GREAT that you can make it!

I have been trying to re-arrange my commitments also. I have an out-of-state meeting with my USG customers on Thursday until late. That is coupled against a wedding in Denver on Saturday which means I have to head back to CO on Friday.
:banghead:

But I am still trying to work something out.

HEY! On a different note, is there another thread about what Ian said on his show this weekend? He said he was joining the SOA for our annual run with his Scrambler. Of course we KNEW that, but my point is it was GREAT PR for us...shoot, you never know, maybe we will see new Scrambler friends this week as a result!

On my way to hot springs

Welp it's 4:00 AM:eek: heading out the door for Hot Springs, SEE YOU THERE.

:D:cool::thumbsup::smokin::wave:

Picked up the D30 and AMC20 lockers that will go to some lucky participant! Show up and see what you can win!

Any "open" jeeps attending? The odds are favorable that you may end up with a set of lockers!

We'll be headed out in the morning.
CAN'T WAIT.

This is going to be the longest, slowest day at work ever! Is it 5:00 yet?!!!!!!!

Made a quick stop to get some stamps for post cards to send back to the family. We are in Fordyce, AR about 70 miles from Hot Springs. (edit) We are in the KOA in Hot Springs tonight while we wait on the camping at Superlift to open up on Wednesday. Til then, we will be sight seeing in the Scrambler.

Having fun taking our time getting out there. One thing we have noticed is that it is getting very hot during the day, but at least the humidity is dropping so the temps are becoming bearable. Look forward to see folks as they arrive.

Edited to correct location.

Jake (jeepinarkansas) will be bringing down the bumper that i made. I will have my daughter that weekend and I am fairly certain that I will not make it down.

We have almost made it! Here are the first pics from the local.

Our camper and trailer is just in the shade.
