I just went up on their website. They,ve got a handful of Scramblers for $275K but the one that is absolutely nuts is the Grand Wagoneer at $435K. My wife asked who would pay that for a 30+ year old 4X4. I told her that this guy would probably have a billion in disposable income. Bragging rights, I guess. Simple math here. Ten technicians at $100/hr, 2 solid months work still leaves $100K plus to put into the parts. Now there is a profit margin. Maybe their overhead is the big reason behind the price. They obviously have found a niche that is working.
These are expensive because they have modern frames, axles, suspension, engine, etc… still above my budget, but respect the build quality and attention to detail for a niche market of buyers…
should have backlit the orignial am radio with the same LEDs. I love it though! goes to show, no matter how nice something is, I will always have something to fix/repair/modify!
