After taking the summer off from working on the scrambler, I've finally made some progress and its starting to look like a scrambler again. I've taken all the vacuum associated things from the engine and put almost everything back together. I'm sending the body to the bodyshop sometime in the next few weeks and hoping to have it running again before the body comes back. Thanks to everyone here who answered my questions and offered there opinions and advice. I've learned a ton so far and that was the main reason I took the scrambler apart in the first place. Here some pics of what it looks like today!

Its been 3 years since my last update and I admit I've been extremely slow at finishing my project but I'm determined to get it finished this spring and ready for the summer. I've almost completed my 4.0 swap (just a few small things to cleanup), and just need to finish putting everything back together. It was such a beautiful day last Friday and I had the afternoon out so I rolled it out into the driveway so it would remember what the sunshine looks like. Here's a few pics of what it looks like today, as you can see I've added a few more Jeeps to the family over the last 3 years!

So it looks like the majority of the work is done. That will be a nice rig when finished. I predict that when you finally make that maiden voyage, you'll say to yourself "I should have done this a long time ago but the wait was worth it!"
