I need new radiator in 82 Scrambler with 258 auto and it currently has no fan shroud with stock radiator in another post they say keep your fan and get new shroud?

A shroud always helps with cooling. With you being in NV, I'd definitely be adding one back and making sure your fan clutch is good.

Have yours re-cored and find a shroud is my recommendation. For my non‐oem Jeeps I use Champion. They make a good radiator and have shroud options. Run them in my YJ and LS TJ.

Omix-ADA 17102.02 this is for the radiator that is the Heavy Duty Cooling. Also the HD systems the radiator cap is on the drives side, along with a bigger diameter 7blade fan. I hope this helps. Here is a picture of the HD radiator in one of the Scramblers in my garage.

Omix-ADA 17102.02 this is for the radiator that is the Heavy Duty Cooling. Also the HD systems the radiator cap is on the drives side, along with a bigger diameter 7blade fan. I hope this helps. Here is a picture of the HD radiator in one of the Scramblers in my garage.
