Scramber with Factory AC

I did a little write up:

The only issue I had/have is with the compressor belt tensioner set up. You might have to scroll a few pages after the initial install but I modified the belt tensioner and added an additional idler pulley to keep the v-belt from squealing upon initial compressor lock up. No other issues, it works great, still blowing really cold air and it has been a few years since I installed it,

I have an 85 CJ8 and planning on selling it. It did have original AC but prior owner removed AC and put parts in box. Would it make financial sense to have it reinstalled on CJ or just include with sale. Thanks

Financial sense, if you can do it yourself, maybe. People who want a Scrambler have limited choices so having A/C might not be a selling point depending where you live. In the south or southwest it could be a big selling point. Up north, not so much.

Beautiful Jeep. If it was me I'd just include the parts in the sale and disclose if it's complete or not.
