Yesterday we went east from Buena Vista for the day. We hiked the Vindicator trail near Victor/Goldfield. If anyone goes in the direction, I very highly recommend it. Next we went to Garden of the Gods. The kids had a blast climbing around on the rocks.

This morning we took a short drive here in Buena Vista to check out the Midland Tunnels.

Tomorrow morning we are going to take a Jeep ride up to Independence Ghost Town and walk around a bit. It's on Independence Pass going towards Aspen. Should be a very pretty drive. After that we're coming back and taking a turn on 390 to check out a few ghost towns/mining camps. There are several of them within a few minutes of each other ending at Winfield. Overall it should be a nice scenic drive with the Jeep and checking out the sites. Depending on how long we stay at each place I would plan for 4-5 hours total. Would anyone like to join?

Will be driving from Denver each day. Is there a list of trails for each day if I should be delayed in traffic?
 
Oakley met up with us yesterday for the drive up Independence Pass. The wife and I absolutely loved this drive. Just breathtaking views.

I started seeing some scrambler’s in BV today
Drive in movie on west side of town says they are showing movies from 22nd thru 26th we could cover that place with scramblers 😂
 
I’m living this National event through everyone’s posts, so please keep it up. I really wish I could have made this one. BV is beautiful!! Post pics! We love pics!!! Y’all have fun!
