I’ve come to the realization that my torque converter is toast, my Scrambler shutters when taking off or trying to pull hard. It’s probably been going for a while, but has gotten a lot worse since my engine swap to a more “performance” built 360. It’s the original, though rebuilt 20k miles ago, to my ‘81 Scrambler. My question is, who builds or sells a quality torque converter that can hold up to a bit more power than stock? What type of stall speed should I be looking for…road and trail driving. TIA
