This isn't encouraging for me finding another Scrambler

I have the '8 but also have a '61 Corvair Lakewood Wagon. Most people didn't know they made a Corvair Wagon. The '8 is worth more as there were fewer '8s made than my Lakewood. 27K+ 8's and about 32 Corvair wagons... The 8 is rarer...
I really expected to see a pic of the Corvair also.
hint,hint

My grandfather had one back around 65 - 66 as a second car. 2 door sedan I believe.

A buddy at work brought that Haggerty magazine and showed it to me. I’m already insured with them with a stated value policy for the Jeep. i just upped it to 42k for just under $800 a year.
I’ll have to check back with them , called a few years ago and they said they didn’t insure 4x4s ( jeeps ) period , maybe a 2wd jeepster or wagon but not a off road capable rig .I only have 33s and a 4 inch lift and was like really?

Are there any mileage limits ? Mine is a 2nd car . A buddy has a model t with them and has it registered as a show car with a limit of like 1800 miles a year to keep rates down, he wasn’t sure about jeeps.

No mile limit. Nothing really with the insurance itself just with the registration as an antique. Like its only supposed to be driven no more than once a week. How they would enforce something like that I have no idea.

One recent pic with whitewalls and the other is the story board I had made several years ago for it to use as shows.

I do have a antique tag , fortunately in fl as long as you meet the age requirement your good to go 👍🏻

We have the highest insurance anywhere around pretty much, for vehicles. Since I have owned my vehicle ( 40 years ) I have probably bought mine again 5 times. And that’s just liability for the last 36 years.
I do agree with you on that. Although I don't have my Scrambler insured, all other vehicles are through the rough.

Try living in Ontario Canada... Literally legal highway robbery...
