Notice for iPhone users: DO NOT use the image size reduction option when uploading photos to the forum. This causes portrait images to post as landscape. We have added a warning to the image insert pop-up as well.
I think you will need to compare apples to apples when buying/selling these rims. I think you have 5 factors to consider:
1) Size (15x7 or 15x8) - Mine are 15x8s
2) Condition - Mine are a solid driver grade. I am very pleased on how nice they are in person, but def not a resto grade.
3) Drilled or undrilled - Mine are drilled
4) With or without caps - Mine came with caps
5) Set of 4 or 5 rims - My set is for 4
I paid $1k, and I am good with that. I have seen them for a little less, but also upwards of $1.5k or more, for nicer ones.
So, I made a change. I know there are some who like them and some who don't I am aware of all the pros and cons, but really have wanted to do it for probably 20+ years. I wanted to have first hand knowledge once and for all instead of second and third hand info from online forums. If I find I don't like it, I will just switch it back to SF. Had to order 2* shims to replace the 4* shims. Calling into Tom Woods on Monday.
