I know some of yall have TJ's. A friend of mine asked about adding cruise to his 05. He said from what he can find, they have a "plug and play" kit from Mopar, but he can't find one.

Anyone know anything about it? Me being the "Jeep guy" people still ask me about non-CJ stuff, which is a bit annoying at times, but at least it's not a JK.
 
I bought a 2006 Rubi Unlimited in 2012.
Some of these were prewired for cruise control and mine was. With a few minor tools I installed it in the parking, basically plug and play.

If I recall, at that time Mopar had discontinued their cruise control kits and place called Jeepsareus.com bought out remaining stock.
I purchased the kit from them. Quick Google search, leads me to believe they are no longer.

If he wants Mopar cruise, probably gonna have to find it in a salvage yard.

Pre-terminated plug under hood on driver side fender.
If it has that it should have all the rest needed.

Thanks for the info and the link! Looks like he's going to have to piece one together from ebay, or find one in a junkyard to buy parts from.
 
If I remember to look. I have a 2006 and 2004 TJ here for parts. I have to look and see if either have cruise control
