Upper seat belt bolt

question on the half cab seat belt mount, is the bolt going thru the cab to the roll bar longer than what’s on a cj7?? Thank you
 
Considering it has to go through the bushings for the halfcab top, I would assume so. I do jot have a 7 for comparison, but it would make sense to need longer bolts for the 8

Haven’t looked yet but the big grommet that seals on the outside between the cab and bar would be nice to find. Am using body to frame bushings.

This was brought up years ago.
A member used to supply a replacement for them for shipping costs.

Here's a link to the discussion and some part numbers, not sure what's available now.

Thread 'Seatbelt/ roll bar bushings/ grommet...what ever u want to call them.'

I used to send these kits out. I do not have the access to get these like i used to .. The bushing kits i have been sending out are a parts package for a monroe shock. For a half inch upper stem mount shock. Go to Oreilly's and see if they can order the parts packages...the part number is Monroe p-1167. You will need one for each side. I wish i could still get these..i have sent out many many of these for only the cost of shipping. Let me know if the parts stores have any trouble getting these.

Wonder how Scott's doing? He made me some rock sliders and a bumper for Dad's Scrambler. He was really good at fab work, and was fairly close to me (couple of hours north)
