VA4DA Fall Trail ride

I had a great time in Oak Ridge. It's a long ride down and back, but it was worth the trip.

Wonderful to see so many 8s in one place.

The only mishaps I had was trailer tire flats on the way down (why do they always happen in pairs?) and putting the fan into the radiator, which is being remidied with a shorter spacer and a fan shrowd. Looking forward to more Scrambler events.

Yep We finally made it back home. No troubles on the way home. We were detoured though by the Hurricane. Oh well.

I juat wanted to say thanks for everyone's hospitality. Crossbones thanks for the use of the shower , Fernando that fore everything else. All of the other Scramblers that were there Thank you for a good time. I drove a long way for some trails that i could have done near the house, but the company made it a worth while trip and will drive that long to do it again. Maybe not the same place, but another time.
Obviously i had some issues with the top radiator hose. We were not getting along this weekend at all. Fernando kinda pointed out what i can do to fix it. But at closer inspection of the rig my spring perches were starting to roll and my rear drive shaft needs a new tube. A rock was turning dow nthe OD of it for me. I also ripped my top. Not to bad. Good time. Kelli even got to drive in the playground. She had an excellent time doing that. At first she did not want, but when she saw the rocks she was game for it.

I did not win anything in the raffle. Oh well

It was GREAT wheeling with you guys and Enjoyed the company tremendously. Thanks again.
