Can we get an offical list of who's coming & where they're staying.
I've signed up, but not booked a place to stay; thinking about a motel somewhere close. Any suggestions? How many have registered to attend?
Robert

I assume you mean the National Scramble...

I'm hoping to attend, I now have a way to tow my junk there thanks to Lee, but I have a family issue that I have to see resolved before I can sign up.

I REALLY hope that I can make it, keep your fingers crossed.

I was planning on tent camping, either at the park or the KOA, one way or the other...

i'm in

i'm going, but I need to figure out the whole camping thing/hotel thing.

I would like to stay where some fellow members are gonna be, but I know that space at the park is limited.

I've got my place reserved at the park as so does matt.
I'm planing on leaving out of Rome on Wed., doing a lay over in Memphis, and trying to make it to the park by Noon on Thursday.

I sent in my event registration Friday along with a non CJ-8 friend. We will be tent camping at the ORV park.

I'm pretty sure I'm going. I don't feel like hauling camping gear for just myself, so I'll be looking for a cheap room. I also know of another guy from my club (MWJT) who's going, but I don't know his plans yet.

Sent our registration in on 4-12-04, my dad and I will be going. We are heading out some time on June 10th (about a six hour drive). I have booked us a motel room for three nights and the hotel is only 3 miles from the Super-lift ORV Park (approx $52 a night plus tax). Here is the hotel info: about 1½ miles from downtown Hot Springs, AR. Knights Inn, 1871 East Grand Avenue, Phone 501-624-4436. (booked our room online using expedia.com). They also so have truck parking for those who will trailer their Scramblers in. SEE YA ALL THERE!

We will bring what ever CJ8 is running!
1981 CJ8 SCRAMBLER, 3” lift, 360ci, 31x10.50AT, rest is stock
1982 CJ8 SCRAMBLER, 4” lift, 258ci, 33x12.50MT, lockers both ends
1984 CJ8 POSTAL SCRAMBLER, stock

knights inn

I'd been wondering what motel would be close to the ORV park, thanks for pointing that out Jason. Just booked a room there for 10th thru 13th, looks fine for the price. See you in June.

I tried to register today but my computer , (fred - Freaking Retarded Elictrical Device) is acting up so I hope it went through. I will be leaving thursday am for a 9 hr tow. I have an extra spot on my trailer if anyone wants to come from kansas. If not I will bring my( recently finished) girlfriends bobbed 8 as a spare to wheel if I break mine. If someone could tell me if my registration went through I would appreciate that. Mike

Hey Mike, was wondering what route your taking to the Scramble? My dad and I are going to trailer one of our Scramblers and were also planning on heading out sometime Thursday, June 10. We live in Thayer, about 15 miles South of Chanute directly on Hwy 169.

Would you be interested in hooking up somewhere along the way and convoying to Hot Springs?

I have a meeting to attend in Topeka on Saturday morning, May 8th. Email me directions to your shop and maybe I can make time to come by and introduce myself.

I come right through thayer. I will be leaving thurs. AM pretty early. I go to altoona over to 169 down to tulsa. Around tulsa to muskogee tnpk down to 40 and across to little rock. Back track about 25 miles but 4 lane all the way. Runnin at 27K lbs I don,t like winding roads much.Drive a cummins 5 spd thats (juiced) so I get out there and rumble. If you want to tag along thats fine but you,ll need to be able to run 78 plus. I made my hotel res at knights inn today so I,m pumped and ready. Mike
