Sounds Ike you have a fiberglass tub if no tailgate.
 
And without the "Jeep" (or "Joop") stamped in the side of the A pillar it's not an original tub.

A magnet will tell you which one 😁

My MD Juan tub was actually pretty good in that area, just needed the cutout for the striker putting in and some holes to mount the striker itself, all the rest was as factory or pretty close anyway.

The sticker pin is still a little too low and tilted up so I will need figure out how to cut in a new hole/position for it, but until I know for certain the best way to do that I will have to roll with it how it is.

As the profile on the sides looks correct i suspect your PO bought some side repair panels and then made his own tub around them, quite a heavy duty looking one at that as well!.
Also looking at where the roll bar is your 8 may be a little shorter and squarer than a factory one, would be nice to see a side view. of your 8 photos are a must on here!
 
The only tub I can find that has the same lines minus the fixed tailgate is the Aqualu Aluminum tub, but mine is not aluminum (according to the magnet test).

I have an Aqualu, that definitely is not one like mine.
