Throwback Thursday is a Facebook thing that I really like and I know a lot of folks don't do FB, so I want a thread here for when you find that old picture of your Scrambler.

Go.

I'll start. This was the Postal's first lift, a completely wore-out set of BDS 4" springs and a nearly bald set of 33" Wild Country MTRs that I threw on with my stock 2.73 gears and non-disconnected swaybar. It was the cheapest way possible to get to 33s at the time :headbang:

I was so cool... this was April 2003.

I can't really "throwback" too far with an 8 since I just bought it last year, but I'll play!

First day after the muffler-less, alternator-less, thunderstorm ride home.

Then I'll derail it by tossing in a 1995 trailride pic of my 78 CJ-7.

Only owning it for about 14 hours... On the Coastal highway in California. This pic was taken the morning after Connie and I woke up after spending the night in the Jeep. (June 2010)

This was my very first Jeep right after I first purchased it in 2000. It was a '98 TJ Sport. This is the only pic I have of it before I lifted it and started modifying it. I was so embarrassed by the tiny little stock 205 tires that I didn't take any pics. In fact this picture was taken by my Assistant Chief when I was a volunteer firefighter. He was putting together the Department's website and taking pictures to show how the volunteers arrived on scene's in their personal vehicles and then got dressed out in their gear. This photo was taken directly across the street from the fire station I was a resident at.

Sorry it is so small.

The day I brought it home. My little girl checking it out!

Day late, but I'm in.

First Jeep I ever owned, a '59 - this pic is from like 1988 or so.

Here is the CJ-7 I restored, then sold before I bought my Scrambler - about 2005 or so.

and here is the day or day after I got my Scram:

I thought there was a better picture but I guess not. This is from 1988. In the high school yearbook. A shot of my 86 XJ 2 dr 5 spd. It even had the rear vent windows. Loved that Jeep.

Sometime in August of 2002... picking her up, stripping her down, and dreaming of one day being able to drive it...
