Agreed. I like to try as many micros as possible and prefer to support the local guys. But getting a case of Sam's for the everyday beer is always a hit.
 
Waggie beer is good.

4 hour drive out, 4 hours fixing my RO plant, 4 hours back and looking forward to Torpedo Time but alas no torps so it's Porter time instead. Hoppy with thatImageUploadedByTapatalk1435917305.454815.jpg

This week at lunch at the pub I had a Mocha Stout that was superb. I'll be looking out for that again

I'm not that big of a lush, just been sippin' all afternoon. The root beer could sneak up on ya if you don't watch it.

I like Dominion Root Beer. Did they get bought by Inbev as well as the brewery? I guess so.

I saw that in the store local and passed over it. I thought is said only 6.0% abv on the bottle, which sounded week for bourbon barrelled. What say you on the review?

Yes. 6%. And yes, weak. I could have all 6 and not have an issue. It was an impulse buy because I liked the little bottles and my wife has a thing to have me try all of the bourbon barrel beers that she sees. Usually they are stouts though. It is a nice summer night light (for me) beer. But a one time thing.

Good to know, thanks for the review. I like the bourbon barreled ones as well to try. Founders makes some heavy hitters up here in that category.
