We are in the planning to make the cross country trek! Is there trailer parking there at the park to leave the trailer and stay at a hotel? Or is there a group camping at the park?
Yes. Rausch Creek has parking for your trailers. As do the Comfort In and the Hampton Inn. If you plan to camp at the Park, you can, just call ahead so you can reserve a spot.

Update on lodging:

@Jeeperdd has gotten the group 15 rooms reserved at the Hampton inn. Tell them your with the scrambler group and the price will be the group rate of $124 a night.

I just called and reserved a room, BUT they do not have a "contract" back from the Scrambler group, so they charged me $170 a night

BUT, she said once they get the "contract" back, they would lower the amount  :fingerscrossed:

Was hoping to go, but no Scrambler and no ride along. Looks like something to put on a bucket list for another year.

Oh
I just called in our motel reservations at the Hampton Inn.
As of now, they still have 10 rooms available in our block of discounted rooms.
2 queen beds, non-smoking, for $124/night.

So. Are there any hard trails in this park? Im looking at youtube and i see a JK on 35’s running “ the toughest trail in the park”. hoping there are some tough trails. 1200 mile pull.

That video probably was titled by the Jeep owner who "didn't know better".

There are some tough trails
I only went once. The one trail, a very experienced driver in a locked CJ7 on 35's with a 302 and a np435 needed a winch. There are some trails the rate as RED. Expect body damage if I remember correctly. I know some different parks have different ratings. Here it is green, blue, black, red. Green easy, red, not easy.

Oh
We will probably do a day or two in the park, and a day (or 2) scenic. On the scenic day(s) will we have to pay the park fee, assuming all group drivers' meetings, evening get togethers, etc. are in the park?

there are trails that are for buggies and have boulder gardens. I personally have only attempted some black obstacles, but the reds have done some damage to some of my friends’ Jeeps.
