Well, that goes without saying, right? But…I’m going to see this next week. A buddy of mine saw it someone’s yard and asked if it was for sale. It was. Needs a lot of work. Probably just jinxed it by posting before I own it…

I had one of those, traded it in on my Scrambler when i bought it in 1983.

@Randyzzz the body looks good in this photo, I would buy it, so guess there are other crazies out there…

Looks like a lot of fun. Interesting location for an auxilary gas tank?
They used to have all sorts of crazy locations for auxiliary tanks back then. The stock Jeepster tank was 15 gallons, maybe less- can’t remember. So they got creative. I had a 67 Bronco with 3 different tanks- a front, rear, and fender tank. The auxiliary tanks usually only hold 5-6 gallons each. If this works out that will be going away. There’s actually a lot of room between the frame and the rocker on these things.

I hope you get it...these rust just as bad as Scrambler if not worse...but in your area should be relatively minty metal. Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks Jersey! Yeah, I’m hoping the floor pan is decent. It has had the windows broken/missing for a while. We will see. But the hardest part is over- got the wife’s “permission” this morning. As in she didn’t say no!😆

It's going to be interesting to see where this goes.
Curious on the pair of auxiliary fuel fills, just storage or tied into the fuel system.
Capacity, etc. … so many questions
