Rob I think thats the plan. I'm thinking of just keeping it plain jane and maybe a 304. There is no drive train in it, so its a blank canvas. I was thinking LS swap, but going to keep it on the narrow track axles and they are in great shape. All it would really need to get up and running is engine, tranny and TC. Oh and a new body mount kit and I'd also have to pull the fuel tank and get it boiled and checked. It doesn't look like much, but its solid as heck. I've been crawling all over it for a day and compared to up here, it's a home run. I'm going to head out in a tad and put the steering column back in to get it down to the barn. It came with a manual box in it, which I have never seen in a scrambler before. Going to have to start a build thread now for this one.

Get the bird out A guy a work left his truck window down a few inches on a Friday. Monday he found out a bird got in and went to the bathroom, must have been 40 times. 25 must have been sitting on the top of the steering wheel. We all had a good laugh as he cleaned it up.

Finally out of winter slumber this weekend.

Have to do a new muffler dealio. This setup is killing me, it’s horrible.

And when I wash it, there’s less Jeep when I’m done, so that’s why it’s filthy.

I just watched the 1962 movie Hatari. Watched them beat on the CJ-6 platform the whole movie.

Was able to install a set of Holley Retrobrights headlamps in classic white. I’ve been waiting for so long to get a set of lights that were just as high quality as some of the best LED’s but without looking like an alien. Finally paid off! These things are stellar! Can’t believe the difference. It’s like a modern vehicle’s headlamp.
