And so they begin? No price on it and closed today. Looks okay but somehow seems like an intrusion.....!

Hard Top - Do you use it?

I like to run hardtop. That said if it was easier to remove I also like the bikini. Have a brand new full best top still in the box? I just run half door, no windows unless it gets cold...getting older so love the heat!!

    walkerhoundvm's rebuild thread

My condolences as well. We only get one Dad and think (I did anyway) that I'd be john Wayne when he passed. That was 11 years ago and I'd still give 5 years of my life to spend another week with him?

    Jeepersmeeting in italy

I wish I was figuring by the gallon. $1.36 per liter and that's down 10 cents per liter from a few weeks ago. At 4.54 liters per canuck gallon we're paying $6.18 per gallon. Some are more, some less depending on the province. Would love to report otherwise ?? Rick

    Scrambler or LJ

Great discussion. A scrambler is a scrambler and they are stand alone! I had an 06 LJ as a daily driver....excellent vehicle other than a few small things but sold it in 2010 and is one of those rigs that I wished I had kept. Definitely wasn't over powered with the 4L but really liked the...

    After the snow is gone....yes!

After a colder Feb/Mar than normal and lots of snow, finally dug out the cj and made a trip up and down and around the lakes. The sun feels just right in the spring and looking forward to lots of ice cream runs. Looking forward to every ones summer pics and adventures. Thx...Rick

Thanks for your kind words. Here's a couple more pics I have, including one with bikini top. I also have a full besttop for it but prefer the hardtop. Presently running 350 4bbl HEI with headers, ps/pb, 6" skyjacker lift w/ 35 x 12.5 15's. Fairly new to the scrambler world but is my favorite of...

Hello, long time lurker, first time scrambler owner and jeep guy for years. Love looking at all your projects and interests. Looked for a cj8 for a long time, passed one by 5 years ago, came across this 81 last year and jumped in the water. Mostly a coffee and ice cream machine presently for...
