I agree. If price is the main consideration, being patient in monitoring Craigslist and being willing to drive a bit to pick it up will be less expensive than splicing two CJ hardtops or building your own from scratch.

I think you might be right. The scan is a good representation of the printed page, so there's nothing else to be seen there, but if you compare it to this photo of a CJ7 World Cab on a TJ there are just too many things that aren't quite right.

I came across an ad for Race Sport lights in Dub's LFTD&LVLD magazine with this CJ-7 World Cab in it. The World Cab has definitely been hacked a bit, those aren't the factory side windows, and the doors are standard CJ round corner doors, so they've done some mod to the side panels to convert...

The only place I know of that the short version was sold in quantity is Venezuela. It's very rare everywhere else.
