I'm redoing my valve cover and found this "shim" floating around my valve train. Not sure where it came from. I did have to replace the threaded rocker bridges in two places to non threaded ones, but I'm pretty sure it didnt come from that. Any ideas? Want to make sure I'm not overlooking...
Wasn't sure exactly where to post this. I've been toying with the idea of driving out to Bantam in June this year, but I don't have a jeep right now. They were looking for volunteers, so I'd probably just go to do that. Not sure it'd be worth my efforts/time/money if I am Jeepless. Seems like...
Kind of disappointed not one April fool's post. I know BigWalton and Jersey Jeeps have had some good ones in years past that have fooled me.. Maybe next year.
Just wondered if anyone has ever used this NH Oil undercoating stuff and what their experience was like. Evidently you have to respray it every year or have them respray it each year. Looking to possibly use it on my daily driver.
Not sure how I came across this, but the video outlines a lot of problems with these new replacement bodies. I guess Willys Overland is taking them and "modifying" them to actually fit. They have an good explanation of all the holes and what not missing on the firewalls.
Just curious if anyone knows who owns this Scrambler now. It was in Streeside classics in the fall, and didn't sell. According to Streetside it was supposed to come back up for sale once a steering issue was fixed. It never did. I believe the owner was in Georgia. I'd love another shot at it but...
Not sure how to embed the video, but Dennis Collins is going to be selling a bunch of low mileage CJ's including a garnet interior Scrambler. I can only imagine the price tags on these, but its cool to see some Cj's that only have like 1500 miles on them. I found the video entertaining.
Looking for opinion. I have looked for quite a while for a decent Scrambler in my price range for some time. Had a deal for a few worked out only to fall through because of seller remorse. I don't have $20K+ to drop on a Scrambler, then add in shipping, tax, etc. Seems to me there is a lot of...
I always see this picture on the Classic Enterprises website and I wonder if anybody knows anything about this Scrambler ambulance or what happened to it.
It seems as though no one sells the Mopar MPI Fuel Injection for the 258 6 6cyl anymore. I found a few for Auto transmissions, but none for manuals. Can anyone confirm this is correct, that they are no longer produced or sold?
Thanks.
Surprised this wasn't posted before. Anybody see these renderings of POTENTIALLY what the 2018 JT pickup would look like? Looks like this design has a removable roof. Just some nice speculative renderings.
So I am thinking of replacing my OEM brake lines before they become a problem. I thought I found a set for my 1981 at inline tube, but after calling them they don't make a set for narrow track axles. Everything they have is for widetrack axles. I called there and the guy tells me that no CJ8's...
I know this probably an odd post, but I have been pondering what tool and extra parts I should try and carry along in my jeep in case of a breakdown or emergency. This is more of a street Jeep, so I am focusing on roadside breakdowns and emergencies. I only have the area behind my seats, as...
Posting here and hopefully without violating any forum rules.
I have a nice pair of factory ends caps for my factory chrome rear step bumper. Due to limited availability to finding these, before putting them on, I am in the process of having some reproductions made as backups. Speaking with...
A friend of mine asked if anyone is making reproduction tonneau covers for Scramblers. I don't know so I'm posting on here to find out. I know someone was building a hard tonneau cover system at one point, but not sure about soft cover replacements.
