I don't recall but it sprayed on with a gun similar to a drywall texture application. Ask your fiberglass guys, I am sure they can point you in the right direction.

I repainted the top on my red Scrambler, well rather I had it redone at a local body shop that specialized in fiberglass. They had to add some texture prior to painting but it came out great. I think I paid $200...? Not a bad deal in my opinion.

The ACC kit fits like a glove, really top notch, I also had the mass backing added. I just wish they would pre-score the tranny cut outs, I always get a bit nervous cutting into carpet when you're not exactly sure where to put the hole... BTW, the ACC floor mats are 100% perfect fits, I am going...

The steering wheel needed some help as well, it was in good shape but the edges were starting to pull apart. I decided to install a cheap leather lace on wheel cover, my effort at lacing it up wasn't great (my eyes aren't either), but I think it works pretty well and fits my hands much better now.

Looking Good! The passenger seat is sitting too high so I will pull it and remove the spacing bushings from under the seat slider.

One of the hardest things to do with new carpet is getting all the mounting for the seats, console and belts through the carpet. I had my son push an icepick up through the holes from underneath the Jeep and I would chase it back out using a steel punch that I was heating up with a blow torch...

I also took took advantage of the opportunity to get the CB antenna installed under the carpet. I ran the Firestik cable through the bulkhead using the supplied grommet. I hated drilling through clean metal but I prefer having the cable out of the way.

Made good progress over the weekend. I got the POR-15 applied after applying the etch and cleaner. Everything you have heard about how hard it is to get that crap off your skin is true.... what a pain in the arse! All in all it came out looking pretty good.

I continued last night with getting the AM/FM/CB radio installed. For the in-dash speakers, I went with a simple 5 1/4 flush mount Rockford Fosgate speaker. Biggest reason for going with this particular unit, free next day shipping with Amazon Prime for only $39. Gotta love Amazon. Again...
