    What's on your Work Bench?

Well, I think what I've won is more on the workbench besides a big boat. The other Scrambler is in there now with a spun wheel bearing.

    Unlimited LJ?

Look at ours when you come up. The LJ's do tow a heavy trailer better than an 8. My wife's is nearly stock, with 32" tires, and mine has some lift with 33's.

What is your favorite question on your Scrambler?

Scrambler on a JK Unlimited Frame Build?

Yep, that rocking and dipping is what people objected to in the LJ. I use no-lift YJ springs in my CJ8 and don't get the jarring "hit" like I used to in '82 with a lift. In fact we all talked about making the conversion the other way, making the LJ...

    Moab in Spring

Chains: The Park Service brochure recommends them, but I can't imagine anybody hauling them from very far away. We saw a set of tracks that had developed a busted cross-chain, then fixed, then another ledge and busted again on the rocks. It gets to be such a mess that I wouldn't want to drive it...

    Moab in Spring

Sorry you couldn't make it - it was a lot of fun. Next time! GPS?! hmm, wish I had had one; chasing after some of those remote unnamed arches would have been a lot easier. But, anybody can find the route, the forks in the road are mostly obvious, and we'll be doing it again. :) We pretty much...

Road was cut deeper than a jeep here. Big sandy wash - no place to be in a rain!
