I cannot imagine they would have been shipped to the dealer "pre-assembled" with beauty rings, so if those scratches are from rings, which seems likely, it would also seem likely they they have been mounted and used. Just my two-cents.

Might stop it there, but how will they stop online sales through FeeBay and other online retailers? We all know about Chinese knockoffs, and some will buy them anyway because of the price... And in reality, a lot of Omix stuff isn't much better, as you noted.

OK. Slowly moving forward here... Have discovered a couple of missing vacuum lines (go figure!), a leak around a coolant intake that may take a new part, and I'm about ready to put in a windshield... Can anyone tell me who makes the best windshield gaskets? I'm hoping to only have to do this...

I'm looking for one or three as well... And Oz doesn't have any. They are using YJ boxes and modifying or swapping out the steering shafts.

Dang - I was even there for a few hours on Saturday and didn't see ANY of that...
