RHD steering box

I know a few people looking for these. Does anyone have a source for rebuilt , new or rebuild kits for the RHD steering boxes?

Thanks
Pete

I think internally they are exactly the same parts its just the casting of the box itself that is just a mirror image.

I'm looking for one or three as well... And Oz doesn't have any. They are using YJ boxes and modifying or swapping out the steering shafts.

Both my Jeeps have XJ boxes but it needed a Borgeson shaft to couple up with them.
Grand Cherokees (ZJs) and XJs are the correct fitment and there are plenty of them compared to CJs over here at least, just not the same ratio as the CJ.

I've got a spare RHD box from the parts-postal, but the condition is unknown since it came on the non-running postal. PM me if anyone is interested in it. That aside, I'd be curious about rebuild kits as well, but like Dave The Sparky said, I thought they were internally the same as any other CJ box.

You should be able to send your RHD box to a company like PSC/Redneck Ram and they can rebuild it for you

I think you would be hard pressed to find a "rebuilt/new" RHD box, but I am sure they are out there somewhere

Talk to BigWalton, I think he sent his off somewhere to be rebuilt

Not yet, but both PSC and West Texas Offroad/Redneck Ram have said they can rebuild them fine. Actually planning on a Redneck Ram rebuild/conversion on mine for the magazine this summer.

They can turn around a straight rebuild in a matter of days.
