Only lined the high wear area's of the tub. There was some pitting after the blasting process and it was still very solid, but once you put on shiny paint, it bugged the crap out of me. So now I don't see that anymore. The tint was very close and this was still very wet when I took the pictures, but it is close enough for me.

Yeh kinda looks and acts like carpet, but never comes out or Slades around and easier to clean.

As the 68 stands now. Tucked away from the move into the new house in a tiny garage and being used as extra storage shelf. Hopefully I can get this area cleaned out enough to get back to it.

The body has finally been mounted back permanently back on the frame. Had to pull the tranny and TC to find a pesky oil leak. It was so dumb , I can't bring myself to tell where it was coming from. But anyways, I found that my windshield frame was tweaked on driver's side. I'm guessing heavier driver pulling on it to get out. Bought a new frame.
Moved the jeep over to a buddy's place. Love having the use of the 2 post.

I really like the CJ6, and if I accidentally found one, it might have to become mine. There is one local to me for sale, but at $15k and what looks to be barn fresh, a little rich for my blood.

When this one is finished up, I'll be putting it up for sale. Sense buying this one, I have purchased another CJ6, Big Walton's LJR, a 46 VEC and 81 scrambler not to mention an 80 CJ7 which is still out in Colorado. So a little money recoup is in order. Plus running out of room and getting married. I need to raise cash so I can have it to hide from the future wife. 😁

Had the seats redone, new foam, new covers. I'm down to just a few mechanicals, throttle linkage, pedal, directional switch and the dash harness. Getting closer.
