1981 Forest service Scrambler.

I just need to find magnetic door decals.

There was one for sale a few years ago done up like that (might have been park ranger). Recently saw the purchase posted it on facebook. It had some of the decal removed as local authorities gave him crap about them. It looked very nice.

I don't know anything about the transmission but I do like the 401 choice 😍🤩 my next project will have one. Next project you say 🤔
Well I'm less than 5 years from retirement and need a ratrod to work on. I'm thinking an old Jeepster or cj6...

I'm 7 years into retirement and I have less free time than when I was working 16 hour days. Not sure how that worked out, but I'm fishing and hunting more now than when I was in high school. Oh and there is this darn jeep addiction. Hence selling off some of the herd. I will never get to them all so I've decided to get down to maybe three. I can definitely vouch for the cj6 idea. I'm down to two of those now that I sold the 74 last month. But they are awesome rigs. The plan is the Scrambler and my 46 2a. Then I fighting keeping the cj6a and one other.

I have a buddy that is a freelance writer/photographer for many 4x4 magazines.
His business logo very closely resembled the Forrest Service logo - he had it on the side of his mint green Tacoma...

Very cool, but not really stock appearing as it would be as a government vehicle. And who really knows what that would look like. I'm just thinking besides paint & decals, base wheels, mild or no lift, maybe old school winch. If you really wanted to you could mount a chainsaw, shovel, rope, axe, etc. in the bed. Anyway, just think it would be ultra cool and probably never done before. :unsure:

The idea is to keep it at my brother's house in Colorado until I buy a cabin out there. That way we can do all the fun stuff out west And in the east 👍🏼

Well there is this one going for sale soon. When the weather gets a little warmer in spring, there are a few odds and ends to tity up, then off it goes.

With a built 360 and EFI I also don't get great MPGs but agreed - the power makes it all better and who else would I talk to about it if I wasn't stopping for gas all the time?!?!?!

Send them a photo and they'll make you one from it, just need a good quality Pic and dimensions. Naturally they won't do patented or copyrighted or whatever kind of work as most of them even State on their sites. but I see a lot of National Park signs that are written in the same font with family names or Welcome to our camper Etc designed to look very similar to a National Park entrance sign from a distance for example. so something similar could easily be made
